Lilly's Trip to Seattle and Vancouver

Gosh, time goes by too fast! Lilly is almost 9 months old! Why did 9 months feel like 9 years when I was pregnant with her and then once she was born her first 9 months flew by?! I can't believe how much she has changed and grown. We were at our friends' house yesterday for a BBQ and they had a 6 week old and I had forgotten just how little Lilly once was...

We just moved into a new house so now Lilly has all kinds of room to crawl and explore. She navigated up her first step yesterday from the family room into the kitchen. She is a speedy little girl. She LOVES Riley. She watches his every move and he makes her laugh constantly. Especially when he sneezes. She went to the pool for the first time on Saturday when it opened. She seemed to like it although the water was arctic temps. We'll try again once it warms up a bit.

Lilly's First Easter!

Lilly had her grandparents, great-grandparents and Aunt Sarah here to celebrate her first Easter. It was a gorgeous day. Cousin Brodyn came by for some pictures with Lilly and they were so adorable all dressed up! We hope you all had a wonderful Easter holiday.

Lilly has been a busy girl lately! She visited Florida early in March and both sets of grandparents have come to visit her here recently. She is a very active baby and she never stops kicking :)

Lilly has started eating some solid foods in her highchair like a big girl, so we attempted to capture some of her many faces while sampling the different fruits and veggies to see what she likes and what she doesn't like. So far it is pretty hilarious and we are a long way from her loving any of the things she has tried :)

Lilly visits Chicago!!!

Lilly made her first trip to Chicago last weekend to visit Stacy. She rode on the train from Stacy's house to downtown and went to the Shedd Aquarium where she discovered she loves beluga whales! We met up with Aunt Rachel for dinner. It was a short trip but we had a great time visiting :)
